On Monday November 4, 2013 we took a trip to visit Corey Block who built and manages the Farm on Treasure Island. It is part of the culinary education program at
Job Corps. This one acre parcel started out as a blank slate, and after being awarded a stimulus grant, was transformed into an amazing educational farm with an outdoor kitchen, orchard, raised beds, and chickens. It was really inspiring and very sunny! Here's a short
